Connect NeoFast to your AI assistant

NeoFast publishes a free MCP server (Model Context Protocol, the open standard AI assistants use to reach external tools). Add it to your assistant and ask clinical questions: it searches our neonatal clinical library, reads the guides and answers with links to the source. It also runs the published bedside formulas.

How to connect

Claude (desktop and claude.ai)

Settings > Connectors > Add custom connector, paste the address above and save. In a chat, enable the NeoFast connector and ask away.

• What is the initial antibiotic regimen in early-onset neonatal sepsis and when should it be stopped? Cite the NeoFast articles.
• Corrected age of a baby born at 30 weeks and 3 days who is 45 days old.

What it does

• Searches and reads the clinical library (9 languages) and returns the articles as text, with title, author and link.
• Runs the published formulas of the free calculators: corrected age, Fenton 2025 SGA/AGA/LGA, umbilical catheter length, endotracheal tube, body surface area, New Ballard.
• Read-only. It never writes anything and needs no login.

What it does not do

• It does not calculate drug doses, drip rates, GIR or fluids. That is the NeoFast app, which validates every step at the bedside.
• It does not replace clinical judgement or your unit's protocols. The content is written and reviewed by Dra. Marcela M Marques (CRM 12807/DF) for clinicians, and every answer should be checked against the cited article.

Privacy

The server stores nothing: no account, no history, no cookies. Your questions go through the assistant you use (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor), under that provider’s terms, and only the search terms reach NeoFast. Technical details for developers: server card, agent skills and auth.md.
